Swiggy raises $700 million in a venture round

Swiggy, the food delivery app popular in India, has raised $700 million in a venture funding round, led by Invesco US. Baron Capital Group, Sumeru Venture, Kotak, and Qatar Investment Authority were some of the notable participants. This round of funding pushed Swiggy’s valuation from $5.5 billion to $10.7 billion.

Ola Electric raises $200 million

Ola Electric, on a vision, to revolutionize the electric vehicle scene in India has raised $200 million from big names such as Teken Private Ventures, Alpine Opportunity Fund and Edelweiss. Ola has built the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing factory in Tamil Nadu, with a capacity of 10,000 employees. This is also the world’s largest all-women factory.

CaptivateIQ raises $100 million in Series C

CaptivateIQ, a sales commission software platform has raised $100 million in a round led by ICONIQ Growth, Accel and Sequoia. The company raised $46.6 million in June of 2021, which puts its valuation at $1.25 billion.

Chargebee raises $250 million in Series H

Subscription and billing management platform Chargebee has raised $250 million in a round led by Sequoia Capital India, and Tiger Global Management. This round puts their total funding at $468.2 million and their total valuation at $3.5 billion. Notable participants were Insight Partners, Sapphire Ventures and Steadyview Capital.
