Simpl raises $40mn Series B
Simpl raised $40 million and is looking forward to expanding its online buy now, pay later services. The six year old start-up raises Series B backed by Valar Ventures and IA Ventures. LFH Ventures and some existing investors also participated. On the whole, the start-up has raised $83 million to date.
Better.com gets $750mn cash infusion
Better.com recently announced that it was going public via a SPAC, and is getting a cash infusion from its backers sooner than expected.
Blank-check company Aurora Acquisition Corp. and SoftBank have decided to amend the financing agreement to provide the company with half of the $1.5 billion they committed immediately instead of waiting till the deal closes.

Reibus Secures $75M Series B Funding
Reibus announced it raised $75M in Series B funding led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. This investment brings Reibus’s total funding in excess of $100 million and boasts its valuation to $750 million. Along with SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Reibus enjoys continued investment from partners like Canaan Partners, Nosara Capital, Battery Ventures, Bowery Capital, Initialized Capital, and FJ Labs. The fundraise will further fuel the company's rapid growth like expanding the marketplace and mobile app tools and services and accelerating new financial and logistical products.
