Fyllo Raises $30 Million for Cannabis Tech Solutions

Fyllo has announced the completion of its Series B funding round, which totaled $30 million. The round was co-led by JW Asset Management and Sol Global, bringing Fyllo's overall funding since its inception in 2019 to about $60 million.

Fyllo intends to use the additional funds to extend the company's presence. It argues that its experience in the cannabis industry demonstrates that it can offer technology applications to other heavily regulated sectors.

Cyclr, a UK-based SaaS startup, has raised more than £2 million in capital for development

Cyclr Systems Limited reported a new investment of over £2 million led by Blackfinch Ventures and funded by established investors Juno Capital.

This new investment will enable Cyclr to drive recruiting even further as it expands its client base and innovates in the Embedded iPaaS space.

Karnival, a SaaS startup, has raised $250K from We Founder Circle

The $250,000 seed round was attended by notable investors such as Krishna Kumar, Founder of Simplilearn, Dravya Dholakia of Dholakia Ventures, Shashwat Kumar of Khetal Advisors Singapore, and business leaders such as Abhay Tandon, Dinesh Agrawal, Avnish Sabharwal, Abhishek Kishore Gupta, and Suman Das.

Karnival's website, launched in 2019, is used by over 50 major retailers and brands, including Aditya Birla Retail Limited, Titan Company Limited, Lulu Group UAE, Spar Hypermarket, Fab India, and Pantaloons.

Firefly Health secures $40 million in Series B funding

Firefly Wellness, a virtual-first healthcare organization headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts, has completed a $40 million Series B funding round. The funds will be used to increase the company's activities and corporate presence.

Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) led the round, with established investors F-Prime Capital and Oak HC/FT also participating. Julie Yoo, a16z General Partner, will join the Firefly Health board as part of the agreement.

TrueLayer has raised $70 million for its open banking website

TrueLayer, a London-based company that provides a developer-friendly forum for businesses, including other fintechs, to use open banking, has raised $70 million in new investment. The capital infusion will be used to expand its free banking network.

The Series D round was led by new investor Addition. Anthemis Group, Connect Ventures, Mouro Capital, Northzone, and Temasek were among the existing investors. Visionaries Club, Zack Kanter (CEO Stedi), Daniel Graf (ex-Uber, Google, Twitter), and David Avgi are among the new donors (ex-CEO SafeCharge, CEO UniPaaS).

Alyce, an AI-powered personalised corporate gifting startup, has raised $30 million 

Alyce has secured $30 million in Series B funding, which it will use to expand the website, sign up new subscribers, and hire more team members.

General Catalyst is leading this round, with participation from Boston Seed Capital, Golden Ventures, Manifest, Morningside, and Victress Capital, both previous backers.
