Recordent raises $400k in Angel round, Zenwork lands $ 222.2 mn and more
Recordent, an Indian Fintech startup has raised $400,000 in an Angel funding round from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, the family office of Kantamaneni, and other investors from India and the US. Launched in 2020, Recordent builds APIs for accounting software systems.
Fresh cash infusion will be used for enhancing its technology and customer acquisition, and plans to develop solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Formerly bootstrapped, Zenwork required capital to ride the wave of growth in the automated tax compliance and regulatory reporting space due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The company raised Rs 1,200 crore in funding from US-based growth equity firm Spectrum Equity, as it looks to expand its operations beyond the US and into Europe and Asia.
CoreStack Closes $30 Million Series B Financing Round
CoreStack is a global multi-cloud governance SaaS provider. It announced a $30 million Series B funding round led by Avatar Growth Capital, with continued participation from Dallas Venture Capital (DVC), Iron Pillar, and other angel investors. This brings CoreStack's total funding to $45 million, after a Series A infusion in March 2020.
The funding will help CoreStack continue its rapid pace of growth and innovation with its AI-powered continuous and autonomous cloud governance at scale, while also making strategic headway with expansion into new markets.
