Grid Dynamics acquires UK-based global digital commerce consultant Tacit Knowledge

The leading enterprise-level digital transformation company Grid Dynamics Holdings acquired the Pitney Bowes owned company Tactic Knowledge. 

Tactic Knowledge was founded in 2002 and is a leading end-to-end digital commerce solutions provider for global brands across the UK, North America, Continental Europe and Asia.  

“Tacit Knowledge’s locations are highly complementary to those of Grid Dynamics, enabling us to expand our capabilities and service more customers from nearshore locations”, says Leonard Livschitz, CEO, Grid Dynamics.

OwnBackup acquires SaaS data protection provider Nimmetry to expand its scope in India

The leading cloud to cloud data protection provider OwnBacup acquired California-based Nimmetry with a notable presence in Hyderabad. OwnBackup has caused a significant disruption in the cloud industry since its inception in 2015.

OwnBackup recently raised $167.5M in a Series D round led by Insight Partners, Salesforce Ventures and Sapphire Ventures. With the newly acquired best data management tools from Nimmetry, OwnBackup plans to leverage Nimmetry’s access to the Indian market to solidify its position as a leading cloud service provider.

xto10x acquires HR-tech startup Dockabl to help organisations scale efficiently globally

Xto10x, co-founded by Binny Bansal, Saikiran Krishnamurthy and Neeraj Aggarwal, acquired SaaS-based HR-tech startup Dockabl to make scaling easier for organizations across the globe. The merger will now offer a comprehensive solution to align company objectives, link employees’ performances and manage feedbacks on a single platform.

“Dockabl is an ‘easy and simple to use’ performance management tool for all organizations to adopt. Given the ease with which it can adapt into multiple design choices, the tool can become the preferred employee performance management tool for startups and enterprises alike”, says Saikiran.

Microsoft acquires firmware security startup ReFirm Labs

Microsoft has acquired ReFirm Labs to increase its security capacity to secure the internet of things and intelligent edge services with firmware analysis. Microsoft resolved to invest $5B in IoT by 2022. 

David Weston, Director of Enterprise and OS Security at Microsoft claimed that with the acquisition of ReFirm Labs, the company can use their expertise in firmware security to analyse and detect security vulnerabilities to enhance the company’s chip-to-cloud protection capabilities.

Attentive acquires eCommerce market solutions provider Privy

News has been out that Pricy has been acquired by Attentive. Attentive is a comprehensive text messaging market solution built for innovative eCommerce brands.
