Cognite raises $150 million from a Venture round, Enters the unicorn club
Cognite has raised $150M in funding over 2 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on May 19, 2021 from a Venture round. The funding round raises Cognite’s valuation to $1.6 billion backed by TCV, which is one of the largest private investment rounds for a SaaS company in Europe.
Cognite develops an industrial IoT data platform that enables digital transformation of heavy-asset industries. The funds are to be used to amplify software solutions to empower asset-intensive businesses to improve their sustainability and profitability of operations.
Nextbillion.ai raises $6.25 million from a Series A round
Spatial data platform, Nextbillion.ai has raised $13.3M in funding over 3 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on May 21, 2021 where they raised $6.25M from an extended Series A round. The round was led by M12, the venture fund arm of Microsoft.
Nextbillion.ai is a developer of mapping tools using hyperlocal artificial intelligence and machine learning. The acquired fund is supposed to help the company with greater access to global markets.
Trading platform, Pipe confirms $2 billion valuation
Global trading platform, Pipe has raised a total of $316M in over 4 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on Mar 31, 2021. Pipe’s co-founder and co-CEO Harry Hurst recently confirmed that they raised $250M at a $2 billion valuation in a strategic equity funding, which closed at $150 million.
Hurst says:
“We had originally allocated $150 million for the round but capped it at $250 million although we could have raised significantly more.” the newly acquired funds is said to be used for global expansion in addition to securing the future business
ParkSmart raises seed capital from Campus Fund
ParkSmart has raised ₹15M over 2 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on May 16, 2021 from an undisclosed Seed round led by Campus Fund. They also saw participation from angels like Dilesh Gathani, Shireen Rangaswamy amongst others.
ParkSmart is a parking management application and the newly acquired funds are planned to be used for expansion across geographies and add senior members to the core team.
No-code intelligent information management platform, Keito raises Seed round from LetsVenture
Keito has raised a total of $360K in funding over 4 rounds. Their latest funding was led by LetsVenture on May 20, 2021 from a Seed round. The Pune-based enterprise AI startup raised an undisclosed amount from the seed round and also saw participation from Rajesh Agarwal, Nandkishore Mundada and others.
According to Keito they will be using the funds for building new products, US expansion, and supply fulfillment.
